Zed Section Roofing Purlins & Cladding Rails

Steadmans Purlins and Rails are designed as a comprehensive range of traditional Zed sections for supporting a wide range of roofing and cladding. This traditional and well proven system offers a high degree of flexibility of erection together with structural efficiency.

The wide range of solutions available, combined with the simplicity of cleat details and ease of handling, make Steadman Purlins and Rails suitable for complicated roof shapes including valleys and hips.

All Steadmans Zed sections are manufactured by cold rolling and prepunching structural, prime quality, hot dipped galvanised steel coil to BS 2989: 1982, grade Z35 - G275 with a minimum yield strength of 350N/mm2. the load/span characteristics have been produced analytically in accordance with BS 5950: Part 5: 1998
